Expansion Electronic was founded in 1981, in Italy, as a firm producing air treatment systems. Since then it has been specialising in the design and in the production of HI-TECH products for tertiary, industrial and hospital environments to reduce air pollution. Nowadays the machines and the plants designed by Expansion Electronic are distributed all over the world, carrying their own brand or the brand of their many international partners. The administrative offices and the main production center are in Cartigliano, Vicenza.

The know-how of the firm is mostly technical and concerns a wide range of products, which use the potentiality of electronics applied to electrostatic filtration and to air ionization. It is consolidated with the research and the development of innovative applications and is enriched with the experience gained in various advanced projects,as  the global air quality project for spaceships, developed for ESA, and for the high-speed trains for SNCF. The same firm philosophy is on the basis of the collaboration with CNR, CETIAT and many European Universities.
