Expansion Electronic, founded in 1981 by Giannantonio Nardotto, was created with the aim of producing active electronic filters for air treatment and air purification. Since its foundation the company has been focused on the research and development of sustainable and efficient products. Today, after over 40 years of history, Expansion Electronic keeps going forward with the same motto:

Since its foundation Expansion Electronic mission has always been the creation of efficient air filters to ensure high indoor air quality. The standards of our filters are the result of a continuous research and development. We try to do our best to offer a performing product which ensures energy saving, made with high quality materials, renewable and resistant over time. Thanks to all the improvements added throughout the years, Expansion Electronic filters’ technology is the most sustainable in the HVAC/R sector.
We strongly believe in the power of academy, for this reason we want to be part of the increasing attention on sustainability topics, and we constantly work to spread awareness on pollution consequences and climate change.

DIFFERENT SOLUTIONS FOR SEVERAL APPLICATIONS
During its 40-years history Expansion Electronic has developed several indoor air quality solutions. Our aim to spread active electronic filtration technology has led us to create products suitable for different applications and sectors.
- AIR TREATMENT: The experience resulting from 40-years history allowed us to develop FE SYSTEM active electronic filters specifically for implementation inside existing (requalification/retrofit) and new AHUs and ROOFTOPS units. Nowadays, FE SYSTEM, thanks to its structural features and countless awards, is recognized worldwide by ventilation systems manufacturers and big groups such as supermarket chains, banks, cruises companies.
- FOOD: Expansion Electronic has studied some specific solutions for professional, commercial and industrial kitchens too. FEL SYSTEM active electronic filters and ECOKITCHEN/ECOLIGHT ecology units ensures an efficient oil, smoke, grease filtration together with low and constant pressure drops (energy saving).
- SANITATION: We have developed some specific solutions for indoor environments where a high level of sterilization and hygiene is required. Our ionization cell FI SYSTEM, ozonation cell FX SYSTEM, IONZER for pipes’ installation matched with our active electronic filters represent the perfect combination to ensure continuous IAQ especially for hospital applications, clean rooms, waiting rooms, food processing industries.
- INDUSTRIAL: The desire to develop specific products to reduce industrial pollution led us to conceive our line for industrial sector, focused on the filtration of fumes and oil mist coming from production activities.
- RESIDENTIAL: We developed a wide range of air purifiers to eliminate all fine particles such as pollen, molds, bacteria and viruses. Our aim is to ensure the best indoor air quality as possible and increase health and well-being.
CERTIFIED PRODUCTS FOR THE EXPORT MARKET
Our mission has always been the spread of our air filtration technology worldwide. Expansion Electronic thanks to the research has developed several competences and skills. We are proud to announce that the 71% of our production is addressed to an export market. Our 102 export countries are located all over the world from Europe to South America, from Africa to Asia.
Our customers can rely on our active electronic filters thanks to the certifications obtained from independent and international laboratories such as the Hygiene Institute of Air ILH in Berlin, Polytechnic of Turin, the Sweden Research Institute RI.SE. and UL867.
